The story "Facing Up" is about the journey of Bear Grylls, (a well renown TV adventurist) to the summit of mount Everest. It tells about how Bear Grylls dreamed since a little kid to climb everest, however he broke his back in a skydiving free fall accident everyone thinking he could never walk again. He overcame his broken back after many years of training and became the youngest British to summit Everest.
